Who We Are
We are dedicated engineers, researchers and product development specialists. We have developed multiple patented coating technologies with applications in projected capacitive touch screens, anti-reflection coatings, static control, ATEX compliance and formable hard coated plastics for SxS and aerospace applications. We back our products with on site testing capabilities: optical, abrasion resistance, UV weathering, thermo-mechanical properties, characterization and formulation development.
A Few Words About
Our History
We started with the simple goal of using chemistry to control the reflection of light. While there are many technologies to effectively reduce light reflections, which almost always means greater clarity, elimination of air gaps is the most direct way to reduce reflections. We were presented an opportunity to manufacture a replacement for 3M 1004MS multi-layer anti-graffiti film for transit applications. This is film comprised of 4-layers of abrasion resistant film made such that each layer, as it is soiled or damaged, is easily removed without damage to the underlying layer or any adhesive residue left on the next layer on the stack. The obvious methods to produce this were blocked by 3M and other patents. Thus, we had to develop a product that did not touch the claims in 3M patents. We successfully developed patented technologies that allow the manufacture of tear off lens systems for Industrial, Medical, Respirators, PAPR, welding, sand blasting and recreational uses.
